We are currently hiring for two positions.

DANC is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to help ensure the organization runs smoothly and responsibly in support of its mission to serve families impacted by dementia across the state. Based in Raleigh and reporting to the Executive Director, this role supports a small, collaborative team by managing key operational systems that enable programs and services to thrive.

The Senior Operations Manager oversees essential internal functions, including financial administration, donor database management, board support, compliance tracking, HR coordination, and technology systems. This position combines hands-on administrative work with process improvement, helping strengthen workflows, maintain accurate records, and ensure strong stewardship of resources.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, systems-minded professional who values mission-driven work and understands that strong internal operations help expand support, education, and resources for individuals and caregivers affected by dementia throughout North Carolina.

 

DANC is also seeking an Education & Outreach Manager to strengthen understanding of dementia and expand access to caregiver resources across the state. Reporting to the Executive Director, this outward-facing role focuses on delivering education, listening to community needs, and building partnerships that support families impacted by dementia.

The Education & Outreach Manager serves as a primary educator and community representative, delivering workshops and trainings, building relationships with partners, and helping caregivers apply practical knowledge to real-life situations. This role also helps identify emerging needs, coordinates educational opportunities, and tracks the impact of outreach across North Carolina.

This position is ideal for a confident communicator and relationship-builder who is passionate about dementia education and committed to ensuring caregivers feel informed, supported, and connected to helpful resources throughout the state.
